IntegriCom Expands to Gainesville
IntegriCom is pleased to announce a second office opening in Gainesville, GA. IntegriCom serves clients in the Gainesville and Hall County area and this new office will provide local staff to better serve them as well as future clients in that area.
“We are in the process of moving some of our staff to Gainesville now”, says Joel Thain, President of IntegriCom. “We’ve already hired staff that live in that market with this transition in mind.”
IntegriCom’s Manager of Business Strategy Rob Drake said “We have our ribbon cutting ceremony at 11:00 AM on June 12, and the office will be open for a walk through until 1:00 PM. Please plan to join us. We also plan an open house event later this summer, so stay tuned for more information on that.”
IntegriCom Partners with the Gwinnett Stripers
The Gwinnett Stripers recently hired IntegriCom to provide ongoing technology services, and IntegriCom has partnered with the team for marketing activities and events.
The Gwinnett Stripers are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. They play their home games at Coolray Field in Gwinnett County.
“We are excited to join forces with the Stripers’ and look forward to a long-term relationship” says Joel Thain. “We have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the Stripers’ staff and are appreciating working together with them.”
“We are excited about some upcoming client events at Coolray Field” added Rob Drake. “Be on the lookout for those!”
The Stripers are the second professional sports team that IntegriCom supports as they are the official IT provider for the Atlanta Gladiators and have been for nearly 12 years now.
Issues With Outlook Shared Calendar
There have been several issues with Outlook Shared Calendar that Microsoft is in the process of fixing. The more widespread and serious issues have already been patched but there are still some known bugs that Microsoft is working on. Users may have problems getting updates on attachment changes and extending an all-day event on a shared calendar. The current workaround for these issues is disabling shared calendar improvements which is outlined here.
Please refer to this link to see if your Shared Calendar issue has been patched, is still being worked on by Microsoft, or simply a design feature within the application. As always, please feel free to contact us to help troubleshoot any technical issues you are experiencing.
IntegriCom Welcomes Daniel!
Daniel joined IntegriCom in April as an Intern IT Technician. He is the newest member of our service team where he helps maintain our clients’ computer technology. Daniel is currently pursuing a Computer Programing degree from Gwinnett Technical College.
Daniel was born in the country of Moldova and moved to America at the age of seven. “I was encouraged from a young age to take advantage of the opportunities and liberties that America provides,” Daniel says. “Combining that with my love of computers, I chose to pursue a career as an IT Specialist.” From a young age Daniel was always the go-to for his family’s computer problems whether it was something as simple as plugging in an HDMI cable or something as complicated as fixing a server at his cousin’s church.
He gained a passion for computer repair and learned early on that this is what he wants to do with his life.
In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball with friends, going to the gym, and working in my garden.
